Errol Thompson is a Jamaican audio engineer and record producer who began his career in Kingston in the late 1960s, working primarily in reggae and dub. His studio work featured creative mixing and use of effects, instrumental stripping and rhythm-focused arrangements that helped shape dub techniques and influenced production approaches in Jamaican popular music.
