Christy Doran

Christy Doran is an Irish-born Swiss guitarist who began his career in the 1970s and became active in the European jazz, jazz-rock and fusion scenes. His playing blends electric-guitar techniques, free improvisation and rock-influenced rhythms, and over several decades he has moved between avant-garde jazz, fusion and experimental composition while contributing to the development of the Swiss and broader European improvised-music community.
