Carlo Farina
Carlo Farina was an Italian composer and violinist active in the early 17th century, working at courts such as Mantua and Dresden and composing within the early Baroque tradition. His output combined virtuosic solo writing and ensemble pieces that explored new violin techniques, including early use of double-stopping and programmatic effects, contributing to the evolution of the violin repertoire in the Baroque era.
