Stevie Wishart

Stevie Wishart is an English composer, performer and improviser who emerged from the UK contemporary and early-music scenes in the late 20th century, working across experimental, medieval and electronic genres. Her work blends medieval repertoire and instruments such as the hurdy-gurdy with contemporary composition techniques, improvisation and live electronics to create cross-era dialogues between early and modern musical practices.
