Carol Kaye

Carol Kaye is an American session musician from Los Angeles who began her career in the 1950s, working across pop, rock, jazz and R&B genres. Her rhythmic, melodic approach on electric bass and extensive studio work throughout the 1960s and 1970s contributed to the sound of numerous mainstream recordings and informed session bass techniques and arrangements.
