Rundfunk-Tanzorchester Berlin is a German radio dance orchestra based in Berlin that originated as a broadcast dance ensemble in the post-war period, performing popular, jazz and light orchestral repertoire. Over decades it has combined swing and dance-band traditions with arrangements for radio and television, adapting to changing popular tastes while forming part of Germany's public broadcasting music culture.
