Didier Levallet

Didier Levallet is a French jazz double bassist, composer and bandleader who began his professional career in the 1960s and has been active across modern and free jazz contexts. His approach blends lyrical arco passages and propulsive pizzicato lines as he has composed for and led various ensembles, and he has also been involved in jazz education and the French and European jazz scene.
