Rene Paulo

Rene Paulo is a Hawaiian pianist and arranger from Honolulu who began his professional career in the mid-20th century, working in jazz, easy listening and popular Hawaiian music. His piano-based style blends jazz harmony and pop arranging with Hawaiian melodic sensibilities, and over decades he worked extensively as an accompanist, studio musician and arranger contributing to the local crossover between traditional Hawaiian songs and mainstream popular forms.
