Domenico Gabrielli was an Italian Baroque composer and cellist from Bologna, born in 1651 and active from the 1670s within the city's musical circles. He wrote vocal and instrumental works and is among the early composers to produce solo pieces for cello, including ricercari, thereby contributing to the development of the instrument's repertoire in the Bolognese Baroque tradition.
