Sam Amidon

Sam Amidon is an American folk singer, multi-instrumentalist and interpreter of traditional songs from Brattleboro, Vermont, who began releasing recordings and performing under his own name in the early 2000s within the contemporary folk and roots music scenes. He reworks traditional ballads and tunes into modern arrangements that blend acoustic instruments with experimental production, minimalism, improvisation and subtle electronic textures, reflecting an evolution from stripped-down folk presentations to broader cross-genre explorations.
