Maureen McGovern is an American singer from Youngstown, Ohio, who began her career in the early 1970s performing pop and adult contemporary material. She specialised in recording and performing film-theme songs before broadening into standards, jazz and musical theatre repertoire, combining studio recording with concert and stage work.
