Hans Henkemans
Hans Henkemans was a Dutch pianist and composer who began his career in the mid-20th century within the classical music tradition, also maintaining a professional involvement in psychiatry alongside his musical work. His compositions draw on late-Romantic, impressionistic and modernist influences across piano pieces, songs and chamber music, and his dual career informed the expressive and psychological dimensions of much of his output.
