Paul Lytton

Paul Lytton is an English percussionist who emerged from the London free‑improvisation scene in the late 1960s and has made his career within free improvisation, avant‑garde jazz and experimental music. His approach emphasises extended techniques, unconventional objects and live electronics to create textural, dynamic performances, and over decades he has continued to expand his sonic palette and collaborative practice within the UK improvisation community.
