Robert Barto

Robert Barto is an American lutenist who began his career in the late 20th century specialising in Renaissance and Baroque lute repertoire. He performs historically informed interpretations of solo lute works, particularly cycles by Sylvius Leopold Weiss, and promotes Baroque lute music through recordings and international concerts.
