Yoshikazu Mera

米良美一 is a Japanese countertenor who began his professional career in the 1990s, performing classical and crossover repertoire that bridges Baroque and contemporary music. With a clear, lyrical timbre, his repertoire ranges from Baroque arias and art songs to arrangements of Japanese folk and popular music, and his recordings and performances have played a role in popularising countertenor singing in Japan.
