The Chi‐Lites

The Chi-Lites are an American soul and R&B vocal group formed in Chicago in 1959. Emerging from the Chicago soul scene, their music combined smooth vocal harmonies and lush arrangements with a mix of romantic ballads and socially conscious songs, evolving through influences from doo-wop and funk across the 1960s and 1970s.
