Drew Gress

Drew Gress is an American jazz double bassist who began his professional career in the 1980s and is associated with contemporary and modern jazz scenes. Known for his melodic yet rhythmically complex playing and compositional work, he has navigated post-bop, avant-garde and chamber jazz contexts, emphasising improvisation and intricate harmonic interplay.
