Greg Cohen

Greg Cohen is an American double bassist from Los Angeles who began his professional career in the 1970s and is associated with jazz, avant-garde and roots-based genres. Characterised by a flexible approach to time and tone, his work spans improvisational and experimental ensembles, traditional jazz settings and folk-influenced projects, and he has worked as a sideman, bandleader and composer.
