Georges Descrières

Georges Descrières was a French actor from Bordeaux who trained at the Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique and began his professional career on the theatre stage in the early 1950s, later working in film and television. Associated with portrayals of gentlemanly characters, he became linked to the title role in the early 1970s television adaptation of Arsène Lupin and sustained a career that combined classical theatre repertoire with regular screen appearances, contributing to post-war French dramatic culture.
