Famoudou Don Moye

Famoudou Don Moye is an American jazz drummer and percussionist who began his career in the late 1960s, emerging from the US jazz scene and later affiliating with avant-garde and free jazz ensembles. His playing emphasises African and Caribbean percussion, polyrhythms and theatrical setups, and he integrated world-percussion techniques into experimental and ensemble-based jazz contexts.
