Arnold Steinhardt

Arnold Steinhardt is an American classical violinist, born in Los Angeles in 1937, who studied at the Curtis Institute and began his professional career in the 1950s before co-founding the Guarneri Quartet. He specialised in chamber music and solo repertoire, performing works from Baroque to contemporary composers and combining a career of performances with teaching roles that emphasised chamber performance and string technique.
