Gunnar de Frumerie

Gunnar de Frumerie was a Swedish composer and pianist born in Stockholm in 1908 who began his career in the early 20th century working primarily within the classical tradition. His output, which includes piano works, song cycles and chamber music, combines late-Romantic harmonic language with neoclassical forms and he played an active role in Sweden's musical life through teaching and performance.
