Harry Somers

Harry Somers was a Canadian composer from Toronto whose career began in the mid-20th century and who worked primarily in the classical and contemporary classical genres. His output included orchestral, chamber, vocal and operatic works that combined serial and modernist techniques with lyrical elements, and he contributed to the development of Canadian concert repertoire.
