Dr. Motte is a German electronic DJ and producer who began his career in Berlin's emerging techno scene in the late 1980s, working primarily within techno, trance and acid styles. He founded and organised the Love Parade street festival, and his DJ sets and productions have ranged from driving techno to ambient-tinged pieces while intersecting with club culture and public-event activism in Berlin.
