Niney the Observer

Niney the Observer is a Jamaican reggae singer and record producer who emerged in Kingston in the late 1960s and established a producing career in the early 1970s. His work emphasised roots-reggae rhythms and dub production techniques, using stripped-back, rhythm-focused arrangements and studio manoeuvres that influenced the sound of Jamaican reggae production in that era.
