Horațiu Rădulescu

Horațiu Rădulescu was a Romanian-born composer who began his career in the 1960s, later working in Western Europe and the United States and commonly associated with contemporary classical and spectral music. He developed a compositional approach centred on overtone spectra, microtonality and unconventional tunings to explore resonance and timbre, contributing to developments in spectral music and expanding instrumental technique and performance practice.
