L’Orfeo Barockorchester

L’Orfeo Barockorchester are an Austrian baroque ensemble formed in Austria in the late 20th century that specialises in historically informed performances of Baroque and early Classical repertoire. Performing on period instruments and drawing on contemporary scholarship in early-music practices, they focus on repertoire from the 17th and 18th centuries and on historically informed interpretations of early Classical works within the European early-music scene.
