M.I.A.

M.I.A. (born Mathangi "Maya" Arulpragasam on 18 July 1975 in Hounslow, London) is a British rapper, singer, songwriter and visual artist. Her work blends elements of electronic, hip hop, worldbeat and experimental music and frequently addresses themes of migration, conflict and identity.
