Eddie Costa
Eddie Costa was an American jazz pianist and vibraphonist from Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who began his professional career in the late 1940s and was active on the New York jazz scene in the 1950s. His work covered small-group jazz and studio sessions, featuring bebop-influenced improvisation and a rhythmic, percussive approach on both piano and vibraphone that contributed to numerous American jazz recordings of the 1950s and early 1960s.
