Ivan Moravec

Ivan Moravec was a Czech classical pianist born in Prague in 1930 who began his career in the mid-20th century and performed internationally within the Western classical tradition. He specialised in restrained, nuanced interpretations of Romantic and Impressionist repertoire, particularly Chopin and Debussy, and his recordings and tours presented Czech pianistic traditions to international audiences.
