    John Harle is an English saxophonist and composer who began his professional career in the 1980s, working primarily within classical and contemporary music while also engaging with jazz and film and television projects. His work spans solo performance, composition and collaborative projects, characterised by a blend of classical saxophone technique with contemporary and crossover elements that have influenced the UK's contemporary classical and media-music scenes.
