Dan Berglund

Dan Berglund is a Swedish double bassist who emerged in the 1990s and is associated with contemporary jazz, jazz fusion and experimental music. His playing combines lyrical, melodic double-bass lines with electronic effects and influences from rock and folk, and his work has moved from acoustic jazz foundations towards more electric and improvisation-driven projects that contributed to the international profile of Scandinavian jazz.
