Wiener Männergesang-Verein

The Wiener Männergesang-Verein is an Austrian men's choir founded in Vienna in 1843 to promote and perform male-voice choral repertoire within the 19th-century Romantic tradition. Its repertoire spans 19th-century part songs and arrangements of Austrian folk music to sacred works and contemporary commissions, and the society has been an enduring presence in Vienna's choral and civic musical life.
