Bing Crosby

Bing Crosby was an American singer and actor from Tacoma, Washington, who began his professional career in the 1920s and worked extensively in radio, film and recordings, specialising in traditional pop and the crooning style. His warm, relaxed vocal delivery, use of microphone technique and incorporation of jazz and big-band arrangements shaped mid-20th-century popular singing and influenced radio, cinema and recorded media.
