Ferdinando Carulli

Ferdinando Carulli was an Italian classical guitarist and composer from Naples who established his career in the early 19th century and spent a significant part of his working life in Paris composing, teaching and publishing for the guitar. He produced an extensive body of solo and chamber works, authored a method for the instrument and created numerous arrangements and pedagogical pieces that shaped guitar repertoire and technique in the 19th century.
