Madlib

Madlib is an American hip hop producer and DJ from Oxnard, California, who began releasing music in the early 1990s and works across hip hop, jazz, soul and experimental music. His sampling-based, collage-like production and use of multiple aliases underpin a prolific output of solo and collaborative projects that explore jazz, global sounds and lo-fi aesthetics, blurring boundaries between hip hop and experimental music.
