Maverick City Music are an American contemporary worship collective formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2018 that brings together songwriters and worship leaders to create gospel and contemporary Christian music. Their music blends gospel, contemporary worship, R&B and soul influences with choir-driven arrangements and spontaneous worship elements, and the collective emphasises collaborative songwriting, improvisational performance and the incorporation of Black church musical traditions into broader contemporary Christian contexts.
