Rose Royce

Rose Royce are an American soul, funk, R&B and disco band formed in Los Angeles in the early 1970s. Their sound combines lush string and horn arrangements with driving bass and rhythmic grooves; they recorded both pop-oriented dance tracks and slower soul ballads, and some of their songs appear on film soundtracks and were later sampled by hip hop and R&B artists.
