Ingolf Dahl
Ingolf Dahl was a German-born American composer, conductor, pianist and educator who emigrated to the United States in the 1930s and built a career in Los Angeles working in both concert and film music. His music combined neoclassical forms with modernist techniques, including serial and tonal approaches across chamber, orchestral and film works, and he contributed to West Coast musical life as an arranger and teacher.
