Moscow State Academic Symphony Orchestra (Московский государственный академический симфонический оркестр) is a Russian symphony orchestra based in Moscow, formed in the mid-20th century and affiliated with the city's concert institutions, performing primarily orchestral repertoire. Its repertoire and style span Russian classical and 19th–20th century symphonic works through to contemporary compositions, having evolved from Soviet-era programming to include a wider international repertoire and newly commissioned works while performing regularly within Moscow's cultural institutions.
