Folke Rabe

Folke Rabe was a Swedish composer born in 1935 who began his career in the 1960s within contemporary classical and experimental music. His work emphasised sustained sonorities, timbral exploration and experimental techniques—often producing drone-like textures and extended instrumental effects—and he is associated with Scandinavian avant-garde and minimalist currents.
