Marcello Viotti

Marcello Viotti was an Italian-Swiss conductor born in 1954 who began his professional career in the late 1970s and worked primarily in the classical and operatic repertoire. He specialised in Italian and German opera as well as symphonic works, holding leadership positions at several European opera houses and orchestras and remaining active in performance and recording projects until his death in 2005.
