Harry Miller

Harry Miller was a South African double bassist who moved to London in the 1960s and became active in the British free jazz and avant-garde jazz scene. His playing combined driving rhythmic foundations and arco passages, and he led ensembles that fused South African rhythmic and melodic elements with European free improvisation while helping to document the scene through independent releases.
