Vestards Šimkus

Vestards Šimkus is a Latvian pianist and composer from Riga who began his career performing classical repertoire and expanded into contemporary classical, minimalism and electronic-influenced composition. He blends pianism with improvisation and electronic textures, producing concert works, solo performances and cross-disciplinary projects that engage with Latvia's contemporary music scene and international contemporary music circuits.
