The Stephane Wrembel Trio are a gypsy-jazz trio formed in the early 2000s with roots in the French hot-club tradition and a formation that followed the ensemble's leader relocating to New York to develop an international performing career. Their music draws on Django Reinhardt–inspired swing and acoustic jazz, blending traditional gypsy-jazz technique with contemporary composition and world-music influences, and their repertoire has come to include original material alongside reinterpretations of classic standards, placing them within both revivalist and modern jazz contexts.
