Ron Miles

Ron Miles was an American jazz cornetist, trumpeter and composer born in Indianapolis in 1963 who was active in the Denver jazz scene from the 1980s. His music blended jazz improvisation with elements of blues, folk and Americana, evolving from small-combo post-bop frameworks to more spacious, compositionally driven arrangements and contributing to the contemporary jazz repertoire in Colorado and beyond.
