Michiel Borstlap

Michiel Borstlap is a Dutch pianist and composer from Alkmaar who began his professional career in the early 1990s, working primarily in jazz and contemporary classical music. His work combines improvised jazz with composed forms, ambient textures and elements of film and theatre music, and over time he has expanded into solo, ensemble and soundtrack projects that interact with broader European contemporary music contexts.
