Harold Faltermeyer

Harold Faltermeyer (born 5 October 1952 in Munich) is a German composer, keyboardist and record producer who specialises in synthesiser-based electronic music and film scores. He wrote the instrumental "Axel F" for the film Beverly Hills Cop, contributed synthesiser-heavy scores for several 1980s Hollywood films and worked as a session musician and arranger in Munich's electronic disco scene, including collaborations with Giorgio Moroder.
