James Fei

James Fei is a Taiwanese-born composer and performer based in the United States, active since the late 1990s and associated with experimental, electroacoustic and electronic music. His work merges acoustic instruments and live electronics with computer-based composition, exploring timbre, microtonality and algorithmic processes, and he has contributed to contemporary experimental music through performances, recordings and collaborations.
