Orkest de Volharding is a Dutch ensemble formed in the early 1970s that performs contemporary classical and experimental music. Known for blending elements of minimalism, jazz and marching-band sonorities, the group evolved from street-oriented, politically conscious performances into a long-running presence in the Dutch new-music scene.
